The clock hits 8 o’clock, the cold West Auckland weather is making you want to eat something warm but you’ve had your dinner and now you want a little treat. I have to admit I have left the gym then nipped to Henderson Countdown to get some of these, so you will be able to find them there.

So what do you have? 

1) Jarrah Hot Chocolate

These are awesome with just 59 calories for some of the flavours, mine is the Mint Choc, soooo good! If you haven’t tried them I would highly recommend them, take them to work, get them in your flask and enjoy.

2) Quest Protein bar  

These are great any time but when you put them in the microwave for 20 sec, they go soft and are a little like a brownie. High protein also which is a bonus. In the Henderson Countdown, they are with the organic and health foods section.

Love a cup a soup, yes they might be high in salt but I love them and with only 80-100 calories they are a great option. Like I have said when it gets cold in Auckland and you don’t want to ruin all the hard work you’ve put in the gym then this is a great option.

So there you have it my 3 favs when the Auckland cold weather hits and you want that treat you now have three great options.
